Wife to Adrian
Mum to Chad and Natalie
Granny to Ben, Ewan and Lucia
Mother in law to Jody and Fred

Lorna enriched the lives of everyone who had ever met her in someway. She had a natural gift for
supporting people in a crisis, she would have been great during the blitz. She was the first person
her children turned to when their hearts were broken or their world upset somehow. She had a
wonderfully natural maternal instinct with all children, an instinct that was very evident recently
through her love of Lucia and Ewan her most recent grandchildren. But lots of children have felt
Lorna’s warmth and love, her neices and nephews, the children at the school and children’s home
where she worked and of course Ben who has been a huge part of his Prunny’s life for the last 10
years.

She was a loyal and loving wife to Adrian, and this June they were due to celebrate 30 years of
marriage. Together they have provided us all with a shining example of what true love is all about.

Throughout her life and most definitely through her recent courageous fight against the cancers, she
showed amazing bravery and great strength, and a determined stubbornness not to give in. My family
have been truly touched by the genuine grief, upset and shock expressed to us by all of Lorna’s
friends and acquaintances

Still missing you

Not getting any easier yet Mum, still missing you so so much. I talk to you all the time, i hope you hear me. Lucia is keeping us all going and i'm trying my best to look after your boys.
Lucia is growing away, she loves to go upstairs to your room, she takes your russian dolls to play with. We wave and blow you kisses every morning on our way to nursery. You'd be so proud of her Mum. You should be still here.
Hope your not lonely up there and i hope everyone is with you.
I'm so sorry i let you down the morning you left us, i promised i would be there with you and i missed you by 10 minutes, i'm so very sorry Mum

Love you Mum. It's not right anymore without you. Lucia looks for you everyday and doesn't understand why you are not around. She is a little mini you Mum, she has your look and stubborness.
I know you will look over her just wish you were still here. I kiss her everynight from Granny.

Wonderful Lady

Will be sadly missed. lorna was a lovely caring lady who touched many people. Lorna saw me as a snotty child clumbing through her garden fence helping myself to ice blocks right through to a motherhood. She never had a bad word to say about anyone and idolised her children and currently her grand children. I'm sure that she will look down on all of them and will forever be very proud. all my love Karina
